Former Governor of Casablanca (Morocco) and Ministerial level senior director in the departments of Communication and Interior carrying out leadership functions in multiple sectors and acquiring very deep insight of Islamic communities, local and national bureaucracies as well as management peculiarities in middle-eastern settings.
Member of the UNDP Committee of experts working on the 2006 Arab Human Development Report(Cairo, December 2005) and of the UNDP/SSRC/Population Council Committee of Experts working on "Strategy Development of Social Sciences in the Middle East Region" (Beirut, April 2006).
